    CivicRec Roster Communicate Button Incident Report

    April 14, 2022

    Incident Description 

    Several CivicRec customers were reporting that the communicate button had been removed from the Roster Reports page.

    Cause 

    Upon investigation, the class that the Report UI checks to show the communicate button was missing.

    Resolution 

    A fix was identified and implemented on 4/14/2022 at 1:45pm central time.

    A date filter was added to expedite roster generation on a previous ticket.  Solution Engineers added an ‘or’ clause to check if it's the new ‘RosterReport’ class or the ‘UserReport’ class as it was checking before the change. The communicate button now appears on the roster report pages.
