    CivicRec Legacy Merchant Issue Incident Report

    Incident Description  

    Several CivicRec customers who are using legacy merchant accounts were reporting they could not view the catalog from the internal side of the system. CivicRec residents (online view) could view the catalog but were receiving an error when they tried to check out.  

     

    Cause  

    A recent update made to our payment system to anticipate improvements to our auto-billing system was included in the 2/9/2022 release. These changes were not propagated to some of our legacy gateway integrations. This resulted in failures when users tried to browse to the Catalog for clients using these legacy gateways. 

     

    Resolution  

    A fix was identified and implemented on 02/09/2022 at 12:06 central time. The fix was to apply additional changes to the affected legacy gateway systems.
