CivicEngage Evolve: Engage 6 - Service Disruption - October 27, 2020

    At 7:16 am CST on October 27, 2020, CivicPlus engineers were alerted of intermittent availability of Engage 6. Engage 6 sites were not able to be accessed or were not fully rendering. CivicPlus engineers immediately responded and were able to bring sites back online but there still continued to be some intermittent issues until all errors were resolved at 10:47 am CST on October 27, 2020.


    • Outage Duration: 3 hrs 31 minutes. (Sites were mostly available during this time frame but were unavailable on an intermittent basis)
    • Root Cause: Errors in data and application layers.
    • Further Actions: Restarting services and increasing resources have stabilized the issue at this time. Engineering is continuing to monitor and research mitigation measures going forward.
