Important Maintenance Advisory
CivicPlus engineers have identified an issue that is impacting many CivicEngage websites. To remediate the issue, CivicPlus engineers will perform maintenance on your website overnight tonight.
Your CivicEngage website will undergo application maintenance from tonight, July 30, between 11 p.m. CST and 4 a.m. CST tomorrow, July 31. Your website may experience intermittent downtime during this maintenance window.
On July 27, CivicPlus engineers performed an update to CivicEngage. This update included an upgrade of third-party party software Microsoft MVC that unintentionally resulted in an error for users signing in to their CivicEngage website through a domain not listed as their primary Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Certificate domain and/or through websites not utilizing Forced SSL / Https by Default. Because this error has the potential to impact sign-in, it requires the edge case scenario exception to be remediated for ease of login.
CivicPlus will perform a software patch on CivicEngage tonight from 11 p.m. CST to 4 a.m. CST.
This edge case will immediately be added to future test cases in the CivicPlus Quality Assurance process.
