Performance and LMM/Board Portal Improvement 8/29/24
CompletedThis week the CivicPlus Engineering team for Agenda and Meeting Management Select (previously known as CivicClerk) continued to focus on enhancing the Admin module and the LMM/Board Portal. This list includes some of the work completed and released this week.
- Updates to Authorization errors in the Board Portal Module (Released 8/25/24)
- Improvements to additionally minimize SQL calls associated with permissions in the Agenda Items. (Released 8/25/24)
- Improvements in the App Switcher efficiency (Released 8/25/24)
- Improvements were made to reduce the amount of queries on the Agenda Items page (Released 8/25/24)
- Console errors when switching between the Board Portal display and Vote Page were resolved (Released 8/25/24)
- The Minimum Same Site Cookie Policy was updated (8/25/24)
- SQL Connection Issues were resolved (Released 8/25/24)
- Scheduled Jobs Azure functions were updated to route all traffic through our virtual network to prevent Azure throttling of outbound connections (Released 8/25/24)
- The autostop event for CP Media was adjusted to run on a less frequent basis to reduce load on resources (Released 8/25/24)
- A new merge tag feature was implemented for agenda merge tags resolution (8/25/24)
Additional items in progress:
- Refactoring logic in several key areas to be asynchronous
- Additional architectural improvements
