Recreation Management Incident Report: Shared Production Site Disruption 05.30.2024
Incident Description:
At approximately 11:03 AM CDT it was reported through monitoring that the Recreation Management shared production environment was performing slower than expected. Engineering and Hosting began investigating the issue and took immediate action to resolve the disruption.
Cause:
Database queries surrounding the Notifications Module in RM were using a lot of resources, which was causing the slowness
Resolution:
RM Notifications (setup in Communicate – Notifications) has been temporarily disabled. Product Engineering is determining next steps to make this feature more reliable and keep RM as performant as possible.0
