    Incident Report

    CivicPlus Systems Engineers have applied a fix and have restored service to CivicPlus Notifications.

    • Outage Duration: Intermittent outages occurred for approximately 16 hours on May 13, 2021 where users were unable to access the CivicPlus Notifications application at times.
     Root Cause: CivicPlus Notifications resources were overloaded which caused the application to automatically and repeatedly restart.
    • Further Review: The team scaled out our resources to stabilize the product and applied a fix to decrease the steps taken when the application is restarted. This small change decreases the amount of time, CPU, and memory required when the application restarts and would help this issue resolve sooner and with less manual effort in the future.

    Users should now be able to resume normal site usage.
