The Dependent Microsoft Azure resource issue was resolved by Azure allowing your CivicPlus Solution to resume normal operations.
    • Outage Duration: Approximately 1 hour
    • Root Cause: DNS resolution failures In Azure DNS caused some CivicPlus Solutions to be inaccessible or functionality to fail.
    • Further Review: CivicPlus engineers continued to monitor the situation and observed that most services impacted by this DNS outage recovered approximate 1 hour after the initial outage began. This failure impacted significant portions of Azure customers and Azure management functionality. While Microsoft is reporting that services have recovered, CivicPlus Engineers will continue to monitor the situation. Azure is still investigating the root cause of the Azure DNS event but initial reports indicate an increase in DNS requests as the culprit.
