    CivicRec Incident Report Instructor Reports 1.24.2023 

    January 25, 2023 

    Incident Description  

    After a recent CivicRec Release, we received feedback that instructor reports containing participants that were refunded or transferred were not calculating the instructor payment amount correctly. 

    The product engineering team investigated what could be causing the issue and was able to identify the root cause. 

    Cause  

    Due to changes released on 1.11.2023, the instructor report was not calculating instructor payments correctly per participant when the roster contained any refunded or transferred participants.  

    Resolution  

    CivicPlus engineers identified the code changes that required and updated these settings for the affected customers on Thursday 1.25.2023 around 8:20am CST. 

    Preventative Measures  

    Additional unit testing has been added for these areas of the code for future testing of code changes.
